Ring Kortrijk

Kortrijk, Belgium (shopping centre)

DESCRIPTION
Ring Kortrijk is a well-known shopping centre dating back to 1973. It has undergone several renovations and refurbishments. In 2015, Wereldhave Belgium acquired this centre, which previously consisted of two parts. Kortrijk has 75.000 residents. Together with Roeselare, it is one of the main towns of south-west Flanders. Given that around 200.000 residents live within a ten-minute driving distance, it can count on an annual footfall of three million visitors. The shopping centre has 90 stores, including C&A, Esprit, Albert Heijn, H&M, Sergent Major, Sports Direct, Miss Etam, ICI Paris XL and CoolCat.

In May 2021, the facade renovation of Ring Kortrijk started. The shopping center will be given a new modern look. The renovations will create a new facade 5 meters higher, a covered walkway, rest areas and an event square. In summary: a little tighter in a cozy green setting.

In 2019 it received its BREEAM In-Use certificate with a Very Good score on asset and Excellent for management.
