Luc Weverbergh

Luc Weverbergh was appointed as Independent Director and is also a Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee. His mandate started on April 12, 2023 and runs through April 7, 2027.

Luc Weverbergh has over thirty-five years of experience in investment banking. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Leuven, Luc began his professional career in the financial sector, where he held several managerial positions. He spent nine years as Co-Managing Director of Private Equity at BNP Paribas Fortis, followed by a role as Senior Managing Director of Private Equity.

From 2008 to 2016, he served as a Board Member of the Belgian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. In 2016, he successfully completed the Director Effectiveness Program, followed by the Board Effectiveness Program in 2017, both at Guberna.
