How will you impact our organization?
As Facility Manager, you ensure the optimal operational and technical management of our commercial properties. You monitor maintenance and improvement works, manage technical projects from start to finish, and act as the central point of contact for tenants and suppliers. Your work directly contributes to tenant satisfaction, cost efficiency and the sustainable ambitions of Wereldhave Belgium.
Your responsibilities as Facility Manager will include:
- Managing the day-to-day operational and technical aspects of our retail and office properties.
- Negotiating, coordinating and monitoring contracts with external suppliers and contractors.
- Overseeing maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects (OPEX and CAPEX) from study to delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with legal inspections and safety regulations.
- Following up on technical issues and maintaining optimal building performance.
- Managing budgets for works and continuously optimizing operational costs.
- Supporting internal and external stakeholders in obtaining or renewing sustainability certifications (e.g. BREEAM).
- Organizing evacuation drills and safety exercises.
- Overseeing administrative tasks related to energy management, maintenance and waste reporting.
- Maintaining close communication with tenants to ensure operational excellence and satisfaction.
Your profile:
- Technical or Facility Management degree (Bachelor level) or equivalent experience.
- Qualification as Prevention Advisor or Safety Coordinator is a plus.
- Knowledge of sustainability certifications (BREEAM or similar) is an asset.
- Native Dutch or French speaker with good command of English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Autonomous, versatile and proactive.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
- Technically skilled, analytical and result-driven.
