Belle-Ile

The shopping centre, which opened in 1995, has 99 shops, all on street level, as well as 2200 parking places of which 1,600 are covered. The façade is made of brickwork and architectural concrete, the structure of reinforced concrete. Fire detection through spinklers and alarminstallation, glass domes over the full length of the shopping centre, ceilings and walls of plasterwork, granolithic floor, decorative pillar elements, gas heating and air-conditioning.

The shopping centre is located on the former industrial complex of the 'Compagnie des Conduites d'Eau' southeast from Liège, five minutes away from the city centre. Belle Ile is surrounded by residential districts. There are three different entries by car, the main entry is the bridge across the river Ourthe.

Belle-Ile is connected directly to the Brussels motorway across the Meuse and therefor also has access from the northern part of the city. There are several bus routes in the vicinity. The railway station of Angleur is at walking distance from the shopping centre.
